Injuries-which necessitated their removal to the Auckland Hospital were received by a small girl and 'her younger brother, the children of Mr. H. B. Stevens, fanner, of Motutara, ,ieai/Waimauku, when.they were thrown from the horee they were riding home froni school yesterday afternoon.

The girl, , Avis Stevens, aged seven, suffered slight concussion, and her brother, Harry Mervyn Stevens, aged five, received a fracture of the leg. Both children are progressing •favourably. ■:"":<
