BRITISH GOAL.

MARKET IN SCANDINAVIA. ■ (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 12. The Parliamentary. Secretary to the Mines* Department, Mr. E. Shinwell, and a delegation representative of the British coal industry generally, will leave Loudon at the end of this week on a fortnight's tour of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. They will reach Stockholm on will visit Oslo, Bergen, Gothenburg and Copenhagen in turn. All the. exporting coalfields and coal exporters will be represented on the delegation, the purpose of which will be to study the Scandinavian market, with a view to improving the demand for British coal. This will'be the first occasion on which a delegation of inquiry will have been fully representative of all the interests involved. The new Coal Mines Act provides for the.organisation of the mining industry to develop a national policy in regard to foreign markets.
