ADVERTISING CLUB.
MERGER PLAN APPROVED. The Advertising Club's proposal to constitute a group of the Chamber of Commerce was approved by the council of the latter body at a meeting this morning. A general meeting will be required, however, to confirm the council's decision'.
In support of the proposal, Mr. L. A. Eady said that -the Advertising Club was one of the most active organisations in the city. He hoped that more groups ■would he set up to hold discussions under the aegis of the chamber.
