AUCKLAND BAPTIST CHURCH.

ANNIVERSARY WEEK. SERVICES OF CELEBRATIONS. To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the first Baptist Church in Auckland, a week of anniversary services started on Saturday. The evening was devoted to a preparatory devotional service. Yesterday moraine: at the Tabernacle the oldest Baptist minister in New Zealand, the Rev. Charles Dallaston. of Dunedin, was the preacher, and in the evening the Rev. Joseph W. Kemp conducted the service. A missionary demonstration was given in the afternoon by the Sunday school and Bible classes. A social tea and reunion has been arranged for this evening, to be followed by a praise meeting. Old members are expected to relate reminiscences of the early days of the Baptist Church in Auckland. To-morrow night there is to be a musical festival by the Tabernacle Choir, on Wednesday evening a juvenile demonstration, and on Thursday, "Baptist Night," the speakers are to be Dr. J. J. North, the Rev. M. W. P. Lasc-elles. and Mr. F. W. Gaze. Next Saturday afternoon there is to be a gathering of old members of the congregation, and on Sunday Mr. Kemp will conduct young people's and evangelistic services. Monday night is to be devoted to baptisms and communion.
