AMONG THE FLOWERS.
CLEVFDON DAFFODIL SHOW, PRINCIPAL PRIZE WINNERS.
The best blooms ever seen in Clevedon were exhibited at the annual daffodil show held under the auspices of the Clevedon Presbyterian Church. The number of exhibits was large, indicating that the present season has been very favourable The proceeds from the show are to augment the church funds. The trophy for the greatest number of points in daffodil classes was won by Mr. C. R. Crispe. Awards _ for champion blooms were made as follows: —Trumpet. Miss Jessie MeCullough. "Lord Roberts"; Ineomparabilis. Mr. Wilcox, "Fleetwina"; Barrii.* Mr. D. M. Bryan, "Sunrise''; Leedsii, Mr. C. R. Crispe. "Felspar"; double, Mr. A. Greenfield, "Sulphur Phoenix.'"' Points prizes were won as follows: — Daffodil section: Mr. C. R. Crispe: cut flowers, Mrs. A. D. Bell and Mrs. JT. Eull (equal); Moral artistry, Mrs. C. W. Stephens: girls' section (under IS years). Miss M. Hyde: children, under 1± years, Miss Nita Munro. The judges were Mr. H. B. J. Bull. Mrs. Bull and Miss Bull, of Auckland, and they were greatly impressed by the quality of some of the blooms.
