SIR OTTO NIEMEYER.
ARRIVAL FROM AUSTRALIA.
TO CONFER OX FINANCE
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. Sir Otto Niemeyer. the financial expert from London, who has been consulting with the Government in Australia in regard to the financial affairs of the Commonwealth, arrived from Sydney today by the Makura. Sir Otto has come at the invitation, of the New Zealand Government to confer in reference to financial matters. His associate, Professor Gregory, arrived from Australia last week. Sir Otto was in conference with the Executive Council this morning and in the course of the day he will meet leading Departmental officers to determine the course zo be followed in carrying out his mission. He is expected to be in New Zealand about a week and during that time will be a guest at Government House.
