BUSY POLICE HEADS.
COMMISSIONERS 'VISIT,
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. W. G. Wohlmann, who has been in Auckland during the week-end. returns to Wellington this evening. On Saturday morning the commissioner held a conference of commissioned officers at the central police station, when various Departmental matters were discussed. Those present with Mr. Wohlmann were Inspectors J. W. Hollk (Auckland), P. Harvey (Whangarei) and W. Eccles (Hamilton). ThLs" morning the newly-appointed superintendent, Mr. S. Till, late inspector at Wanganui. took up his dutie's at Auckland. Mr. Till attended a further conference to-day.
