BEACH ROADWAY.
THE KOHIMARAMA PROPOSAL.
AKARANA ASSOCIATION OBJECTS,
"In our opinion the remaining stretches of "beach are valuable pleasure resorts, and, apart from being of considerable utilitarian benefit to. the public, are necessary to conserve the scenic attractions of the harbour frontage," says a letter to the Auckland City Council from the Akarana Association, which last evening entered a protest against the proposal to construct a roadway which will encroach on the Kohimarama Beach.
