MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB,

The first round of the Maungakiekie Golf 1 Club's junior and C grade championships will be played at the One Tree Hill'course to-morrow. All matches in the next round of the Eliffe Cup competition must also be played. There will be a medal handicap for those not engaged in either of these events.

WAITEMATA CLUB.

Members of \he Waitemata Golf Club will play the first rounds of the competitions for the Laing Memorial Cup and the Hislop trophy to-morrow. The Laing Memorial is open to players with handicap of 14 and under, and the Hislop trophy has been arranged for the remainder of the members. The conditions of play are two rounds eclectic. EVERSLIE LADIES' CLUB. The following players will represent the Ever si ie- Ladies' Golf Club in a matcli against the Papakura Ladies* Club on the Papakura course on Saturday : —Mrs. Lever,' Miss Little, Mrs. Goddard. NEW WHAREPAPA LINKS. HELENSVILLE, Thursday. The Helensville Golf Club will hold the official opening of its new links at Whurepapa on Saturday. The links is at present in excellent condition and it is hoped that several interclub matches with Auckland clubs can now be arranged. The new clubhouse has now been erected and the greens are greatly improved. Mixed foursomes will be played on Saturday, the draw and handicaps being as follows: —C. G.
