''Crowds-of people who , had just left various London theatres and stood watching a lire late last night at the •Turkish baths next to the Alhanibra in Leicester Square had several thrills. ' ■. They saw a woman leave a sixthstorey window and cling to the letter R "n the Turkish baths sign until she was rescued by means of ,a fire escape. : There were other exciting incidents. A fireman, overcome by heat, fell off a ladder. A woman's charred'"body was found on the fourth floor when the femes were mastered.
