EDUCATION BEATS ST. DAVID'S.
The final matches in the C section o£ the Auckland Badminton Associaton's interclub competition were played last night, when Education beat St. David's by ; 7 matches to. 5, and Technical beat D.evonport by 8 matches to 4. Devonport and Education havo each had two wins and a loss, but Devonport have won 21 games and Education only 16. Following are the details of the Educa-tion-St. David's match, Education names first: — Men's Doubles. —Williams and O'Sullivan lost to Hayden and Weir, 5—21; Donaldson and Runciman lost to Shale and Hyland, 20 —21; Donaldson and Runciman lost to Hayden and Weir, 6 —21; O'Sullivan and Williams lost to Hyland and Shale, 9 —21. Ladies' Doubles. —Misses Ross and Campbell beat Misses Mathews and Elliffe, 21 — 14 ; Misses McGill and Evans beat Misses Shove and Hyland, 21—1; Misses McGill and Evans beat Misses Mathews and Elliffe, 21—8; Misses Ross and Campbell beat Misses Shove and Hyland, 21—1. Combined Doubles. —Miss Koss and O'Sullivan lost to Miss Mathews and Hayden, 13—21; Miss McGill and Williams beat Miss Elliffe and Weir, 21—17; Miss Campbell and Donaldson beat Miss Hyland and Hyland, 21—16; Miss Evans and Runciman beat Miss Shove and Shale, 21—12.
