BROWN'S BAY NEEDS.
The inconvenience of post office arrangements at Brown's Bay was discussed at the quarterly meeting of the Brown's Bay Progressive Association. It was resolved that a letter be sent to Mr. A. Harris, M.P. for Waitemata, asking him to try to have the post office moved to a more central position. A letter was received from the Waitemata County Council advising that Oban Road would be metalled to connect with Orchard Road during the coming summer. The chairman reported having interviewed the engineer of the Waitemata County Council, and satisfactorily arranged for the planting of trees along Clyde Road On Mr. Mulliolland's motion it was decided that a letter be sent to. the Waitemata County Council thanking it for the improvements to the approach to the tennis courts, the tree planting in Clyde Road, and the promise of metalling Oban Road.
