KENTISH MEN.
MONTHLY MEETING HELD
There was a large gathering of men of Kent, and Kentish men at the monthly meeting on Thursday evening. The programme. arranged -by the committee, included humorous sketches by Mrs. and Miss M. Pilkin&ton, and monologues by Mrs. Joan Webster. In each case the artists were heartily applauded, and responded with cncore numbers. Vocal items were given iby Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Jones, Miss Fullbrook and Mr. Fullbrook. the accompanists being Mrs. Payne and Mir. G. Baker, and a viclin solo by Mr. T. Burnett. The younger members were well catered for, with popnilar dance numbers, and card games were attractive to the non-dancers. , ) Supper was served by the ladies committee. Mrs. Leonard, Mrs. Jones and Miss Hatcher, assisted by anany willing helpers.
