CENTRAL V. ST. AIDAN'S
In the B section of the Auckland Badfflinton Association's inter-club competition Central beat St. Aidan's by 10 matches to 2, and thus win their section without being beaten. Central will now meet the winner group 6 in the first semi-final to decide Who meets the winner of group A. Following are the details of the match, Central names first:—■
ladies' Doubles.—Mrs. Massam and Miss Ramsay beat Mrs. Clark and Miss Capey, 21-—l3; Misses Newton and Potter beat Misses Ryder and Smith. 21—11: Mrs. Massam nnd Miss Ramsay beat Misses Ryder Wff Smith, 21—13; Misses Potter and Newton beat Mrs. Clark and Miss Capey, 21— T. Men's Doubles.—Massam and Ernst beat Coleman and Bell, 21—6; Johns and Bartlett lost to Ryder and Ovens, 13—21: Mas* Mm and Ernst beat Ryder and Ovens, - I —U: Johns and Bartlett lost to ColeWan and Bell, 19—21. Combined Doubles. — Mrs. Massam and Massam beat Mrs. Clark and Coleman, "1 5; Miss Ranisav and Ernst beat Miss !~ahey and Ryder, 21—10; Miss Newton and Johns beat Miss Smith and Ovens, 21—3; Miss Potter and Bartlett beat Miss Ryder Bell, 21—5.
