THE GRAND NATIONAL MEETING

WELLINGTON, Thursday,
J. M. Cameron leaves for Sydney tomorrow on the Ulimaroa with HuntingBoy and' the two-year-old filly Lotus Lily (Chief Ruler—Egyptian Flower).
A. McAulay takes Nightniarch and True Shaft, and W. Patterson Richfield. G. W. New's apprentice, J. F. Nicholson, goes over with McAulay.
Staghunter, Duellona and Tourist went down to Riccarton to-night. The rest of the Trentham' contingent goes down on Friday night, though 11. Lorigan, who is keen on seeing the Test match, may not go till Saturday night.
Limosin will be an absentee from the Winter Cup. Ho knocked. himself recently, and although recovered he will not compete until the last day at Riccarton, when Historic is also due to make his reapppearance.
The Bisogne gelding Arrowzone, who went into H. Benge's stable at the Wellington winter meeting, has been placed in easy work.
