BREAKING AND ENTERING
CHARGES
DECLARED AN "HABITUAL."

WELLINGTON, this day
John William McClure was sentenced to-day by the Chief Justice to five years' hard labour on twelve charges of breaking, entering and theft, two of breaking and entering with intent and two of "attempted breaking and entering with intent. He was also declared an habitual criminal.
