AMATEUR PRELIMINARIES
Following are the amateur preliminaries to precede the big battle arranged by the Northern Boxing Association at the Town Hall on Wednesday night between Tommy Mclnnes, of Scotland, and "Tiger" Palmer, of Australia: — Marson v. Mnrfett; Hobb v. McKnight; Gifford v. Pointer; Crook v. Lindsay. . An emergency bout between Johns and Brentnall has also been arranged.
