LONDON, August 3,
There is much conjecture whether the Labour Cabinet will follow the precedents of the Naval and Egyptian Conferences and hold a number of public sessions of the Imperial Conference. Government circles are disposed to think the conference will be wholly in camera, with periodic issues of communiques. It is admitted that new circumstances exist owing to Labour Governments being in power here and ill Australia so that the- whole personnel of the conference will probably bo new, with the exception of General Hertzog, Soutli Africa^ The fact of many ticklish problems awaiting settlement, however, especially in the economic and constitutional realms, induces well informed, persons to predict that the bulk of the business will bo thrashed out in the committee rooms.
