HEROIN RIDDLE.

BEAUTIFUL PARIS GIRL SOUGHT,

Montparnasse,' the famous night life quarter of Paris, has been the scene of a tragic and fatal drama which is exciting the "Bohemians" of the capital.

A rich young scion of a family of Venezuela, by name Ramon de Francia, the son of a well-known family of that country, had gone, in the company of a pretty young woman, to one of the chief cafes of Montparnasse.

After the . couple had chatted for a while over their liqueurs, and while the young man was whistling gaily, he became deathly white. Almost immediately' afterwards he fell on the floor. Two policemen helped the young woman to carry the man to a taxicab. . When lie was placed in it the girl asked one of the policemen to go with. De Francia to his home. "I will go and tell his brother," she said.

Before the taxlcab had been long on the way the police noticed that the man was dead. His body was taken to the nearest hospital, where it was found that the man had died as a result of an overdose of heroin.

Meanwhile no trace has been found of the young woman. She is a well-known figure in Montparnasse night life, and is known as "the beautiful Sonia." While it is known that De Francia had 30,000 francs (about £240), no money or identity papers were found in his pockets when they were searched at the hospital.
