DISAPPROVAL IN WAIKATO
ONE ORGANISATION PREFERRED
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The secession movement 011 the part of higher officials of the P. and T. service, to form an executive officers' guild, is not viewed with equanimity by members of the local staff. Although several controlling officers were present at the meeting of the Waikato and King 1 Country section of the P. and T. Employees' Association last evening the following resolution was! carried" unanimously:—"This meeting expresses regret at the action of controlling officers in the service to form a separate organisation, and trusts wiser counsels will prevail, so that the existing machinery of the association may,be utilised to advance the claims and-safe-guard the rights of all members, irrespective of their positions in the Department."
