A PROMISING JUMPER.
CRUACHABT SCHOOLS WELL.
ONE OF W. STONE'S TEAM.
Cruachan, who at his last start scored an impressive win in the Hairini Handicap at the Waipa meeting last month, is among the daily workers at Te Awamutu. This gelding, who is by King Mark, has recently been schooled over hurdles at Te Awamutu and is showing considerable promise in this department. He is to be nominated for hack events at the Pakuranga meeting. King's Jest, who won the Great Northern Hurdle Race, is also by the same sire, and there lis no reason why Cruachan should not ' also develop into a good hurdle horse.
