GOVERNOR-GENERAL.

WELLINGTON, Wednesday.
The Governor-General, Lord Bledieloe, presided at a special meeting of the Executive Council this morning. He was later the guest of the New Zealand Olun at-luncheon. In'the'morning Lady Uledisl°e paid a visit to the Plunket Hall, m Kent Terrace, and later visited Karitane Home. To-morrow evenin fr their Excellencies will attend a concert to ibe given by the Wellington Symphony Orchestra.
