HAMILTON, Wednesday,
For failure to comply with a maintenance order with respect to his children John Julius .Peters, aged 55, was sentenced in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court to-day to six months' imprisonment. Defendant admitted there was £120 owing to the State, in whose care the children had been placed, hut said he had not been earning more money than was sufficient to keep himself.
