Mrs. NT. Wardell, South Canterbury, reached Auckland this morning by the Main Trunk, and is staying at Cargen.

Mrs. C. Jeffries, New Plymouth, is visiting Auckland, where she is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Alastair Stewart.

■ Mrs. Whitefoord Steward, who has been recuperating at Rotorua after a nervous breakdown, has returned to Auckland.

Mrs. -H. Browii (Christchurch), Mrs. W. Atkins (Timaru) and Mr. H. Glover (Sydney) are staying at Hotel Mon Desir, Takapuna.

Mrs. Emanuel; of Dunedin, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. D. J. Goodwin, of Hikurangi, are at present the guests of Mrs. C. Goldstine, Market Road, Epsom.
