(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Although Senior-Sergeant George Bonisch, of Wellington, has been duly reinstated, tho Minister of Justice, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, holding that the penalty of dismissal was too severe a ono for the breaches of the regulations which were committed, some punishment had to bo imposed.
This, it is understood, will take the form of the loss of a certain amount of seniority. The senior sergeant's actual rank, however, will not bo affected by this penalty.
