OFFICERS ELECTED,
Good progress during the year, and a satisfactory financial condition ■ were reported at the annual meeting of the Auckland Provincial Protestant Political Association. Remits to be presented to the Dominion conference to be held in Wellington next month were approved after discussion.- ' , ' />' ' Officers for the ensuing year were, elected as follows: President, Mr. J. B. Paterson; . vice-presidents, Messrs. Joinar, Thompson and Spooner; treasurer, Mr. Spooner; auditor, Mr. Thomas; organising .-secretary, Mr. W. J. Woodcock; executive committee, the president, secretary,, treasurer, and Messrs. Campbell, Joiner, Thomas and Thompson.
