JUNIOR REFORM LEAGUE.
FIRST ANNUAL MEETING HELD,
. "The league aims to bring together young men interested in politics, and to encourage free discussion with a view to developing a strong fighting force for the Reform party," said Mr. E. H. Northcroft, who presided last evening at the first annual meeting of the Auckland division of the Junior Reform League. Mr. Northcroft added that several effective meetings had been held during the year, and the foundations had been laid for real progress in the future.
At the conclusion of the meeting several speeches were given by members acting on the'assumption that, as Prime Minister, they were giving policy addresses to electors.
The following executive was elected: President, Mr. E. H. Northcroft,- vicepresidents, Messrs, L. K. Munro and R. Kingston-Smith; committee, Messrs. J. W. Ke&ly, F. Haig, K. Storey and A. K. Turner; secretary, Mr. R. W. Corson; treasurer, Mr. A Doull.
