SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIP.
BRICK MANUFACTURERS' PRIZE,
The Sir George Grey " scholarship has been awarded to' Mr. J. S. Watt, B.Sc., according to a'recommendation approved by the Auckland University College Council yesterday. The scholarship, which is open to students of the college who have pursued a science course to an advanced stage, is of the tfalue of £50, and is awarded annually.
The Auckland brick manufacturers' prize for the best design of a brick building . was. divided between Mr. .W. J. Bedford and Mr., R. K. Land on a recommendation from Professor C. R. Kniglit, head, of the School of Architecture.
