DARING BURGLARY.
• ■ HOLE CUT IN A GLASS DOOR. RINGS AND WATCHES STOLEN. SHOP PREVIOUSLY ENTEEED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. A daring robbery took place in Farish Street beween six and seven o'clock last I evening, burglars neatly cutting out a square from a glass door, close to the handle, and entering the shop of Alex and Co., jewellers and watchmakers. Some diafiiond rings and watches were taken. The affair was discovered by a neighbouring shopkeeper through his noticing the door open and he communicated with the police. The same shop was entered eractly in the same way about six weeks ago. The place was also burgled twelve months ago, and on that occasion the losses were serious.
