FRUITGROWERS' CONFERENCE
Eemits for the Dominion Conference oi the New Zealand ■ Fruitgrowers' Federation, to be held in Wellington on July 2, were considered to-day at the Auckland provincial conference. Mr. W. J. Rodger presided, and was supported by Mr. T. C. Brash, president of the federation, and Mr. J. A. Campbell, Director of Horticulture.
Delegates to the Dominion Conference were elected as follow.- Messrs. H Becroff (Whano'ai'ei), C. Ballantyne (Hamilton), W. S. House (Thames and Taur.an°a), H. S. Izard, F. Firth and J- L, .Trigge (Auckland). Consideration of tho. rjijes, and the constitution occupied. , the conference at the morning sessipn,.
Among the remits for consideration is one, .fr.orn Oratia, "That the attention of the. Government. be drawn to the shortage of .sugar in Auckland (and perhaps, elsewhere) during the stone-fruit season;"
