DEATH OF WAIKERIA INLIATZI YOUTH FROM OAMAEU. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, this day. An inquest was held by Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., as coroner, last nigiit on Allan Symon, aged 20, of Oaniaru. an inmate of the- Waikeria prison camp, who died in the W'aikato Hospital ii:i Sunday. The evidence showed that ll: ■ patient was admitted to hospital m> .March 22. The complaint was lirsi diagnosed as influenza, but other symptoms developed and an operation was performed on March 30, when his condition was diagnosed as osteomilitis of the spine, and death was accelerated I>\ pulmonary tuberculosis.
Alexander Jordan, cliiof warder, said Syjiion was admitted in 1927 fmni Oainaru. Since his illness his motlii'ihad been in Hamilton.
A verdict in accordance with tli medical evidence was returned.
