MILITARY TRAINING.
EX-SERVICEMEN'S RESOLUTION,
At a meeting of the Cambridge ExServicemen's Association the question of compulsory universal training was discussed at length, and the following resolution was unanimously carried: —"That this association, while welcoming and wishing to further any steps that nnty be possible in the direction of the abolition of war, and / without wishing to oppose modification of defence training, protests against the proposal to make the training neither universal nor compulsory, as being neither warranted by the circumstances, nor in the best interests of the youth of the Dominion."
