FOUR NOMINATIONS.
VACANCY ON UNIVERSITY
SENATE.
UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE.

WELLINGTON, Monday,
The following nominations have been received by the returning officer, Mr. E. T. Norie, for the vacancy on the New Zealand University Senate, caused by the election of Professor Macmillan Brown as chancellor:—Mr. W. D. Campbell (Timaru), Mr. F. A. de la Mare (Hamilton), Mr. W. J. Hunter (Christchurch), Mr. A. K. Turner (Auckland).
The Academic Board has elected Professors H. VV. Segar and F. P. Worley to represent it on the- University Entrance Board. The principals of secondary schools have nominated Messrs. F. M. Renner (-Wellington) and W. T. Forster (Napier). The representative of the secondary school assistants is Mr. G. W. Morice (Masterton). Elections are still proceeding of a third member representing principals of technical high schools and two- representatives of principals of registered private and endowed schools.
