Before the usual business meeting of ] the YW. C.A. board of directors on Fri- c day morning last the ceremony took l plice of the rededicatxon of the prayer ( room. Following this service was a con- ( secration of Miss Yuki Kimura to her , work in Auckland. Mrs. Bradstreet, pre- ( 'sident of the association, conducted the ( service. An activities committee has ( been formed, which is representative or < every department of the association. , Reports on the senior club were aLo £ .riven. Miss Doreen Williams was pre- , sented with her gold badge as president , of the clubs' council, and Miss Ethel , Middleditch was elected non-resident , member of the national committee ot the ( federation. Mrs. Bradstreet Miss Demp- ; sev and Miss Bentham will attend the , mid-year national board meeting at Wellington at the end of the_ month. Miss Helen Morton was appointed as assistant to Miss Bentham during Miss Begg's absence in Honolulu. ,
