MRS. BENEDICT'S LECTURES,
"Less than three per cent of the average city's population patronises its bookstores and Jess than five per cent uses its public library," said Elsie Lincoln Benedict, American lecturer, in her address at the Town Hall Concert Chamber last night. "It is this fact which largely explains why the great majority of the world's people are followers, not leaders. Only those who develop, train and organise their mental powers can hope to attain or retain the highest places in civilised life. But the encouraging thing about this is that anyone who will give even slight attention to his brain and body, can unbelievably improve his financial, professional and physical condition."
Mrs. Benedict will give other free lectures each evening this week in her farewell series. To-night her subject will be, "What Your Type Tells About Your Vocation, Health and Mating Traits."
