I The condition of Sir Joseph Ward con- ' tinues to show a gratifying improvement, and his medical attendant, Dr. J. D. C. Duncan, is well satisfied with his progress. The patient has been allowed to see some of his personal friends. Although Messrs. Cyril, Gladstone and Patrick Ward have returned to their homes in the South, Mrs. B. B. Wood and Mr. Vincent Ward are still with their father.
