VICE-REGAL
The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe. attended the annual luncheon of the King's Empire Veterans at the Town Hall yesterday, and in the afternoon were present at the Auckland Racing Club's winter meeting at Ellerslio. Their Excellencies gave a ball at Government House last evening in honour of His Majesty's birthday.
This morning Lord Bledisloe inspected the ships of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy. To-morrow night their Excellencies will attend the screening of the picture "Disraeli," at St. James' Theatre. :...'■■>
