OCCUPANTS OF MOTOR TRUCK
CAPSIZE NEAR HIGH BANK
TWO IN HOSPITAL,

CHRISTCHURCH, this day
Five people, who were occupants of a light motor truck, had a narrow escape from serious injury, if not death, when the truck overturned on the Lake Coleridge Road yesterday. Two of the occupants, Mjss E. Chinney and Frank Reach, were taken to Christchurch Hospital suffering from injuries and shock. Had the truck rolled a few feet further it would have toppled over a 300 ft bank.
KILLED BY A TREE.
INVERCARGILL ACCIDENT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Tuesday. As a result of injuries received from a falling tree yesterday the death occurred this morning of Mr. Robert Andrew Rae, a married man, aged 30, living at Mimihau, near Wyndham.
