Mrs. M. Boulton has returned to Cambridge from a holiday visit to Palmerston North. Miss L. Nicholls has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. J. Reid, of To Awamutu, is spending a holiday at the Mount, Tauranga. Mrs. A. _S. Gaspard-Minta, of Sydney, is on a visit to Cambridge. Mrs. E. Hall has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Australia. Miss Braun has returned to Cambridge from a trip to Tauranga. Mrs. Parke Pittar, of Hamilton, is away on a visit to Gisborne. Miss Greenslade, of Dun "din, has been staying in Hamilton. Miss N. Scott, of Auckland, is on a visit to Hamilton. Miss N. Rogers has returned to Masterton from a holiday spent in Hamilton. Mrs. B. Bealc, of Palmerston North, has been the guest of Mrs. A.'B. Beale, Frankton Hill. Mrs. T. Jolly, lias returned to Wharepuhinga from a holiday spent in Christchurch. Miss J. McDougall, of Tauranga, has been staying in Hamilton. Miss Edwards, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. R. D. McFarland, Hamilton. Miss J. Masters, of Auckland, is spending a .holiday at Hillcrest, Hamilton, with relatives. Mrs. D. McNicol, of Thames, is the guest of Mrs. Eric Day, Hamilton. Mrs. W. P. Baily, of Warkworth, has been staying with Mrs. W. H. Pryce, Hamilton. Mrs. W. J. King has returned to Hamilton from a holiday spent at Tauranga. Mrs. T. Sherman has returned to Te Awamutu from a visit to Mrs. W. J. Martin, at Martinborough. Mrs. Baker has returned to Tauranga after being the guest of Mrs. J. D. Smith, Claudelands. Miss Gray, of Milton, Otago, is the guest of Mrs. P. R. Stewart, Whitiora. Mrs. H. Bush, of Paeroa, has been the guest of Mrs. H. Baker, Hamilton. Miss Camp? bell, of Dunedin, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. M. M. Hockin, Hamilton. Mrs. A. E. Savage, of Wanganui, has arrived to take up residence in Hamilton. Mrs. P. 11. Stewart has returned to Whitiora from a visit to Rotorua.
On Saturday afternoon at St. Andrew's links, Hamilton, the ladies played against th'i men. The links were in very good order and some most interesting matches took place. A dance was held at "Dingley Dell," the homestead of Mr. and Mrs. W. Vosper, Cambridge, when the billiard room was used for dancing, and supper was laid in the dining room. Both rooms were artistically decorated for the function. Mrs. "Vosper received the guests wearing a black embossed georgette frock. Those present were: Mrs. E. Martyn, Mrs. C Morgan, Mrs. G. A dance organised by the Herd Testing Association was held in the Regent Hall, Hamilton, on Friday. Mr. and Mrs.. C. M. Hume were the host and hostess. Mrs. Hume wore a black georgette with silver embrodieries. Those present were: Mrs. W. Hannon, Mrs. F. Knight, Misses E. Bullock, E. Wilson. G. Smith, D..Pratt, P. English, J. A bridge evening was enjoyed by a number of Miss Jessie Clemow's friends at her home in Cambridge. The card room was effectively arranged with autumn tinted leaves and late chrysanthemums. A delightful time was spent at bridge at the home of Mrs. A. H. Nicoll, Cambridge. Mrs. Nicoll wore a deep cream lace frock and smart black panne velvet bridge coat. The guests included: Mrs. E. E.
