SUDDEN DEATH
ELDERLY WOMAN COLLAPSES,
Sirs. Sarah Grey Smith, aged 05, collapsed in Newton on Sunday, and died just after reaching her home at 24, Beresford Street. She had been visiting friends at Green Lane yesterday, and after stepping out of a motor car she collapsed while walking across Karangahape Eoad by Ashley's corner. She was taken home, and a doctor was called, but 011 arrival he found her dead. She had suffered with heart trouble for ; some time past, and, as a medical certi- ; cate has been given, no inquest will be ! necessary.
