NEW OFFICERS ELECTED

DARGAVILLE, tliis day.
The annual report and balance-sheet which was presented at the annual meeting of the Northern Wairoa Agricultural and Pastoral Association at Mititai, showed that the past year had been most successful. A profit of £124 4/7 had been made.
The retiring president, Mr. S. C. Pritchard, was in the chair, and there was an attendance of over twenty members. The following officers were appointed for the ensuing year: Patron, the Pt. Hon. J. G. Coates, M.P.; president, Mr. Hugh Montgomery; vice - presidents, Messrs. C. F. Dassler and Jtobt. Montgomery; auditor, Mr. A. L. Billing; executive committee, Messrs. J. Dodd, W. J. Curnow, G. H. Bradley, W. P Begg, H. P. Sills, S. C. Pritchard, Wm Montgomery, J. G. Wilson and Jas Montgomery,
The meeting decided upon an alteraxon of the rules to provide that full prize-money shall he paid irrespective of the number of entries in any class. The matter of a loading bank and yard on the show ground was referred to the executive committee.
It was resolved that a social be arranged and that the net. proceeds be donated to the Northern Wairoa Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. The following social committee was appointed: Messrs. Wm. Montgomery, C. Sills, R. Wilkins,' J. Dodd, Richard Montgomery, C. F. Dassler, A. E. Harding and H. Montgomery. A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr. A. E. Harding for valued support of the annual shows. Votes of thanks were accorded to Mr. A. J. Ellison and his assistants in connection with the annual 'concert and social.
Votes of thanks to the retiring presi dent and officers were also carried.
