BASKETBALL
BENEFIT DANCE TO BE HELD.
At a meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Basketball Association, Miss Lee in the chair, a considerable increase in the number of teams was reported, there now being 88, the Inter-house Association having joined again. Appreciation of the help given by the city schools' committee by granting the use of the Wellesley School courts was expressed. Arrangements are in hand for a dance to bejheld in the Lewis Eady Hall on July 2, in order to raise funds to send a representative team to Hastings.
