The wedding was solemnised at the residence of the bride's parents at Mamatanui, near Dargaville, of Mavis, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Johnson, to Edwin, third son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Davidson, of Te Ivopuru. Tlio Rev. J. G. Fussell was the officiating minister. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in a beautiful ivory georgette frock, with an underdress of pink silk. Her tulle veil was prettily arranged with orange blossom and siiver keeping it in place. She carried a shower bouquet of white and pink roses and maidenhair fern. Her sister, Mrs. F. Sandford, sicted as matron of honour, wearing a frock of lemon taffeta, featuring the uneven hemline. Her headdress was of lemon tulle and her bouquet toned Avith her frock. Miss E. Davidson, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss J. Johnson, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaids. They ' wore pretty frocks of pink crepe de chine, with headdresses of tulle, and their bouquets matched their frocks. Sir. C. Davidson, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man. Mr. J. Holmes and Sir. D. Love acted as groomsmen. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Druids' Hall, when about 300 guests were entertained. Sirs; Johnson received her guests in a smart frock of navy crepe de chine, with fox furs and hat to, tone. She carried a bouquet of violets; Mrs. Davidson wore a navy frock of wool crepe de chine, with fawn trimmings and hat to tone. Among the guests frpm Auckland were: Mrs. and Master L Tcnnant, Misses O. Johnson, J. Holmes, E. McCarthy, J. and G. Johnson, Sirs. J. Holmes.
