WEDDINGS OF THE DAY.
WAKEFIELD—PORT,
Epiphany Church was the scene of a pretty wedding last/Monday when the marriage of Louise' Lillian, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Port, of Grey Lynn, and Walter Charles, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Wa.kefield, of Dominion Road, took place. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, charmingly gowned in white georgette and satin. The frock was ankle length, the skirt being composed of small frills, which were again used on the full bell sleeves. The head dress was of georgette Taggatted with silk into a design of flowers and leaves and formed a close fitting cap, which was attached to the veil with a wreath of buds, and a frill of tulle across the back. The bouquet was of white chrysanthemums relieved with blue. The bridesmaid, Miss Flo Dennerly, had a frock of delphinium georgette and lace, which showed the new jumper effect and very full flared skirt. The long sleeves also had very frill flares and were banded with lace. With it she wore a silver lame turban buckled with blue, and carried a bouquet of autumn tinted flowers. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the home of the bride's parents.
