NAVAL TREATY.

SPECIAL SESSION IN N.S.W. (Received 12 noon.) WASHINGTON, May 26. The Republican leader, Senator Watsou, announced on Monday, after conferences of the Senate and the House of Representatives' leaders, that the London Naval Treaty will be left for a special session of the Senate, which the President is prepared to call. FOR RATIFICATION. APPROVED IN CANADA. (Received 10 a.m.) OTTAWA, May 26. Parliament on Monday approved the international treaty for the limitation and reduction of naval armaments. It will now be referred to the Senate for ratification. The Conservative leader, Mr. R. B. Bennett, uttered a warning that there must always be a "police force" on seas'and that Canada should play her part in maintaining it.
