BANDITS' COUP. ! _____ Emerald Mine Taken, Occupied, And Being Worked. TROOPS TO THE RESCUE. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received i'p.ra.) BOGOTA (Colombia), May 26. Bandits armed with rifles, reported to number 100, and asserting themselves to number 400, seized tha Conscuez mine, which produces many of the world's finest emeralds. The bandits are firmly entrenched. They seized the garrison, over which half are standing guard, while the others work the rich deposits. Government troops and police are rushing to the scene and a clash is momentarily expected. The bandits sent a communication to the troops: "We are ready to kill in case we are attacked."
