FORGED A CHEQUE.
PLEA OF GUILTY AT GISBORNE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Monday. A plea of guilty to forging a cheque for £4 10/ and uttering it to a tradesman was entered in the Police Court today by Norman Hugh Jeffs, alias Porter, alias Jeffrey, aged 22. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Bail was allowed.
