■ ■ TE AROHA. A well-attended meeting decided to form a Band of Hope, and the following officers were elected : President, Mr. H. J. Pease; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. A. Clothier and J. E. Wild; ecretary, Mr. B. E. House; treasurer, Mr. W. A. .Mills. It was decided to hold social eTenings once a week and a public entertainment each month. The quarterly meeting of the Hot Springs Lodge M.U.1.0.0.F. was largely attended. Eight new members were elected. The following officers were installed by Bro. W. F. Bates: 1.P.N.G., Bro. A. Middleton; N.G., Bro. J. F. Eitchie; V.G., Bro., J. G. Bailey; elective secretary, Bro. G. E. Barlow; 8.5. N.G., Bro. K. Forsman; L.S.N.G., Bro. F. Miller; K.S.T.G., Bro. C. N. Fasher; L.S.V.G., Bro. C. N. Williams; conductor, Bro. W. Atkins; warden, Bro. A. H. Haddon; auditors, Bros. K. Forsman and L. W. Jamieson. The half-yearly meeting of the Star of Te Aroha Lodge, TJ.A.O.D., was attended by a representative gathering. Eight new members were elected. The following officers were elected: P.A., Bro. B. J. Bird; A.D., Bro. Martinson; V.A.D., Bro. J. Moir; secretary, Bro. G. Deverell treasurer, Bro. S. Dodd; 1.5. G., Bro. Mnlgrew; C.S.G., Bro. J. Heathcote; A.D.B.'s, Bros. H. Gills and. Eedfern; V.A.D.B.'s, Bros. H. Kennedy and G. Death.
