i » TRIAL AT WELLINGTON. 'CUP TEAM FOR SATURDAY. Mr. E. K. Asher, selector of the North Island Rugby League team, which is to meet the South Island thirteen at Auckland on June 14, returned yesterday from Wellington, where on Saturday he witnessed a trial match. The game was played at Petone,
and Mr. Asher says it revealed that the code has some fine young exponents in the capital, who with proper coaching, will be firstclass players. Those' seen in action included Moisley and Simons, late of Marist Old Boys and Devonport respectively, and several experienced
South Island men who have recently become resident in Wellington.
