COUNTRY HOUSEWIVES.
(By Telegraph.—Special Reporter.) WHANGAREI, Saturday. The Dominion president of the Women's Division of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, Mrs. Mabel Jackson, who has been attending the Provincial Farmers' Conference at Whangarei, left to-day on a comprehensive tour of North Auckland. Mrs. Jackson will spend two weeks in forming branches of the women's division, which is not political in-character, and which hopes to alienate the hardships of many country housewives.
